The Worship Teams

Encourages the congregation in music and worship on Sunday mornings. We invite you to meet with us during the week to share, practice and pray—even if you do not want to be up front during the service.

Prayer & Share Group

This small group meets once a month in a different home on Fridays at 10 AM. The group shares what’s been happening in their lives, prays for various requests, then ends the hour writing encouragement cards. The host home provides wonderful munchies and tea. If you’d like to join or have a confidential prayer request, please email prayerlink@vancpc.ca

Westside Bible Study

This group meets on a Saturday each month in a home for an evening of fellowship, discussion and bible study. Visitors are always welcome and we hope that you will come and learn more about yourself and God through studying the scriptures.

Family Fellowship

This home group meets on Saturday night once each month. The home group begins with a time of fellowship around a potluck supper. Following supper, there is time for singing and discussion around a topical issue. It is an informal meeting open to all ages and people. This is an excellent way to meet new people and deepen relations with others.

Women’s Missionary Society

The WMS at CPC is part of the Presbyterian network of WMS’s whose aim is to promote mission work, based on Matthew 28’s Great Commission. Activities include hearing special speakers, raising funds to support various ministries and assisting in mission-minded church events. Although the group consists of women, men are welcome to join and there is no age limit. The WMS meets every 3rd Sunday of the month over a potluck lunch in the lounge from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm.

Home study and Fellowship groups

There are many options that meet during the midweek throughout the year for all ages. Please contact the church office or one of the pastors for more information.
